A new computer, and thoughts on "hoards"

teradyneezeriToday, I was given the money to purchase a new "barebones" PC, a Dell Optiplex 780, while out with one of my mates. I now own three Windows PCs--with an ASUS desktop and Samsung laptop joining the Optiplex--as well as two Apple systems--a 2011 Mac Mini, and a late 2012 MacBook Air. I also own a Dell PowerEdge 1850 rack-mounted server, which is currently not in use, as well as several mobile phones, a tablet, and an ebook reader.
In many ways, I have my own hoard started. It may not be as large as the stereotypical dragon hoard, but it seems to exist. Aside from my sister Vega with hir harem, my species in general do not hoard anything. As much as I have become like my sister, this is somewhat amusing to think about.
I have never understood the idea behind hordes, though that may be for the best. Sometimes, it's best not to think about things, and just let them happen.
